WSH Xmas — "Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse..." Before going to bed, the children at the Washington Safe House eagerly set out milk and cookies for Santa and his elves. Then, they sprinkled magic reindeer food out front so the reindeer would know the way to guide Santa's sleigh to our house. Once everyone was fast asleep, Santa delivered gifts and goodies for everyone! The children had a wonderful Christmas morning and the women were very grateful for all the gifts. One little boy clapped his hands after he opened each one of his gifts and responded, "I like Christmas!" A great big thank you to all of our donors and staff for making this holiday a memorable one for the women and children in the safe house.

We are thrilled to announce that renovations are complete at the Washington Safe House, with McQueen Building Company and Range Resources spearheading the project. These much-needed upgrades will provide a safer and more comfortable environment for survivors of domestic violence.

Taking place throughout October and November 2024, the project transformed key areas, including new kitchens, baths, flooring, and much more.
