Who Can Participate
DVSSP offers evidence-based and evidence-informed prevention programs for students in Washington, Greene, and Fayette counties. The overall goal of school programs is to build healthy relationship skills for all students.
Our Lessons
DVSSP offers the Connected and Respected curriculum from kindergarten through fifth grade. Connected and Respected is evidence-based and is aligned to the CASEL standards for social and emotional learning.
Research indicates that the Connected and Respected program has had significant impact on both social and academic development. Each grade level includes group discussion, skills practice, and a Connection to Literature component that includes age-appropriate books with guided questions that connect to the lesson theme.
