DVSSP Offers Free Trainings to Professionals
To prevent domestic violence from occurring in the first place, it's important that service providers are well-informed on identifying and responding to domestic violence. DVSSP offers free trainings to professionals to increase knowledge of domestic violence and the services DVSSP has to offer.
Trainings start at one-hour long and can be scheduled for up to three hours, depending on your organization's needs.
What You'll Learn
Trainings help participants summarize services DVSSP has available to survivors of domestic violence, define domestic violence and the types of abuse, understand the role of power and control in domestic violence, and make a proper referral to DVSSP.
